Welcome to my site about films, beer and occasionally whatever grabs my attention between the two.
It’s a fairly simple premise. I like beer and I like movies, so I decided to commit my thoughts to the internet in a vain attempt that someone might read them.
This isn’t a review site. There are plenty of people who do great reviews. They can tell you about the subtle citrus notes in an IPA, or why the cinematography in The Odyssey is what it is.
I’m not one of those people.
I’ll write about films I’ve watched, pubs I’ve visited, beers I’ve enjoyed and places I’ve been. Sometimes I might have a carefully laid out plan to find the best pubs in a city. Sometimes I might find somewhere by accident and wonder why my feet hurt.
I’ll rate the films I’ve watched, because who doesn’t love a good (or in my case, bad) rating system? Not going to rate pubs or beer though. If I like something, I’ll tell you. If I don’t, you’ve probably already figured it out.
I tend to lose my train of thought and have been known to go off on a tangent, but hey, at least you’ll know AI didn’t write the post.
To sum up: I’ll do something, I’ll write about it and if someone wants to read about it, yay me.
